1966 Mr R. S. Mackill appointed as Milborne Manager. Chris Austen comments "Bob was Assistant Manager to Charlie Berry at Station Road, Frome; I spent three months there in 1960. Bob & his wife used to invite trainees to tea on Sunday afternoons and we would play Canasta!" John Southwell adds "I first met Bob when he was at Ruyton, and worked for him at Lockerbie, taking over from him when he moved to Appleby." (Express News Autumn & Christmas)
