1958 Mr A. Fox obtained a distinction in studying dairying at the Cheshire College of Agriculture. Keith Goodby comments "Arthur Fox was the site director at Daisy Dairy when I joined United Cooperative Dairies in 1985. He retired very shortly after as Ken Hunt (ex-Express Exeter and Express Northern) took overall charge of UCD. Brian Stephenson, who was also ex-Express Broadfield Road, was responsible for production at all of the UCD sites and my boss-real gent. I think it proves how strong Express were in bringing talented people through the organisation." (Express News December)

1970's? "When I were growing up I had a job on the milk, working between 4am and 8am delivering milk to the great folk of Sheffield 5 and Sheffield 6. I'd work the milk round before school then (after being up from 4am) get off to my school for a days learning. One of the floats I worked on was the Express Dairy milk float which was ace. 2018 application with the council to launch a new microbrewery in Sheffield. The Old Dairy site on Broadfield Road is in the process of being renovated and could become home to Sheffield's newest brewery. The microbrewery will be housed on the bottom floor of the building and produce craft beer in bottles and kegs for sale to wholesale customers. The Old Dairy was built in the 1920s for use as a milk and cheese processing plant until it was discontinued. As part of the proposal, a statement read: "The proposal to renovate and refurbish Unit 8 of The Old Dairy complex for use as a microbrewery is a sustainable use, which will provide jobs and ongoing increased business to the local neighbourhood and beyond. The site has a history of food processing and manufacture, which is in keeping with this new proposal." (Courtesy Insidermedia.com)
