1913 A.W. Gurden Advertisement. Paul M Hayes comments "Gurden's was a fixture in Ladywood for many years selling milk, eggs and butter. Their offices were at 67 and 69 Marroway Street and also at 67 St Martin's Street." Nick Gurden adds "That was my Grandfather Arthur Gurden and his father before him. 2023-Rossmore Road. This was the side road leading to the Eden Vale Depot, and old rail siding. Previously 'Independent Milk Supplies' Depot, I believe. Was a useful place to park, otherwise it was the underground NCP Car Park behind this location-now a self store warehouse.
