1899 Glovers Dairy, Hammersmith. "Although specific records about the very beginning of Glovers Dairy are sparse, it is known that the dairy was operational through the late 19th and early 20th century. It was demolished in 1900 and a tram shed was constructed. In 1910, the land was sold again, this time for a roller skating rink, which remained open until World War I. After the war, the land was sold once more and a ballroom dancing venue was built: The Hammersmith Palais." (Courtesy Rural Historia FB Group)
