1980 Jane Rees comments "Back in 1979/80 when they were building at Staplemead, my dad Arthur Rees was Transport Manager, and they were going to knock down his old office/porticabin. Instead he asked if he could give it to the local Scout camp at Tedbury for them to use, so over the next months him and his mate took it down piece by piece and put it back together again over at the Scout camp site. He died suddenly in 1980 before it was completely finished, and it’s been rebuilt and vandalised and rebuilt and vandalised over the years… I found this clipping when it was rebuilt and opened again and named The Rees Cabin after my dad, but credit where it’s due, it all started down at the dairy!"
