1970's Abbots Langley. Depot Manager Mr Peters on the left, Reg Grace receiving clock from Andrew Patterson. Adrian Grace comments "Here is my father Reg Grace who worked out of Abbots Langley, Long Service Award from Andrew Patterson. Dad broke his ankle twice at work 1963 and 1982 in the snow and ice at the yard.". John Grace (no relation) adds "There were two other 'Graces' in the yard, me and my brother Danny. I used to cover your dads round if he was off or on holiday." John Ryan comments "Worked there with Ron and Johnny in the 70's as a milk boy-great place to work now a block of retirement flats."
