1969 Sloan’s Dairies, corner of Beith and Rosevale streets, Partick. Isabel Henderson adds "I went to school in Rosevale Street, lived in Merkland street. The red sandstone building we lived in belonged to Sloans Dairies, the creamery was behind the houses". Margaret Morton "The dairy on Fulton Street had a bit round the corner, opposite Temple school entrance, where the milk bottles were washed and stacked in crates on the pavement. One time there was a fight between rival youths, bottles were thrown and smashed over Fulton Street there was broken glass all over the road. The police were involved.
